Our time on the ship was largely uneventful. Algernon spent a lot of his time sparing (badly) with his father. I tried various experiments during the 13th hour to see if I could detect where it was coming from (I couldn't) or if I could tell anything different about Charity during thistime (again, I couldn't). Cordelia disappeared during on of the 13th hours. In a typically selfish human way she didn't tell us exactly when, so I thought we were being attacked. It turns out that she was leaving using a power called 'trump' - a fairly powerful ability that can be detected. At Carnellian we formulated a plan. Charity, Algernon, Sorcha and myself would leave for Dierdre's tower using the pattern at Carnellian. The others would stay. That left me some time to get some clothes (human-only, so I'm stuck with this form), and then we could 'walk the pattern' again.
